ideas.inc. Pitch Week 2012 31 March 2012

Over the last week of March, ideas.inc. organizers and 35 other judges sat through 5 days of 6 industry specific judging panels to select the Top 15 Finalists to move on with S$15,000 each to create their prototype. They were judged based on their product. financials, strategy, team and most essentially how they are going to spend the S$15,000 given to them.

The judges were critical and yet encouraging. Every single team walked know with constructive criticism that eventually help them with tweaking their ideas to become better. The judges are encourage to network with the team during lunch. While the judges fill their tummy up with food, the participants fill their head with knowledge from the judges.

Competition is tough this year with several teams with developed prototype, and others with good ideas. Looking forward to see how the S$15,000 will help the Top 15 team realize their entrepreneurial dreams this year!

Having identified the potential health risks caused by UAVs, their specially designed UAV incorporates several safety features that will not only reduce the risk of injuries; the software developed by the team enables the UAVs to maneuver smartly and boast a longer battery life.
